About the role

We currently have two permanent part-time positions available for 17 or 20 hours per fortnight.

In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:

Line A (17 hours)

Week 1

Friday: 7am – 9:30am (2.5 hours)
Monday: 7am – 9:30am (2.5 hours)
Wednesday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)

Week 2

Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours)
Monday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)
Wednesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours)

Line B (20 hours)

Week 1

Thursday: 7am – 3:30am (2.5 hours)
Friday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)
Monday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours)
Wednesday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)

Week 2

Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours)
Monday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)
Wednesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
  • Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License
  • Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
