The Gateways Support Services vision is to provide support for children and adults with a disability and their families to maximise their quality of life. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our new service in Warralily, due to open end of January 2025.

About the role

We currently have four permanent part-time positions available with 24, 27 or 33 hours per fortnight.

In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1 / Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:

Line A (24 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Friday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
Monday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)
Tuesday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Saturday: 9am - 3pm (6 hours)

Line B (27 hours)

Week 1:
Sunday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Monday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Thursday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)
Friday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
Sunday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)
Monday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)

Line C (27 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
Saturday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Sunday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
Tuesday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Wednesday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Wednesday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)

Line D (33 hours)

Week 1:

Friday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)
Saturday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Friday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours)
Saturday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
Sunday: 9am - 3pm (6 hours)
Monday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Tuesday: 7am - 9am (2 hours)
