Your new opportunity

We are looking for someone with experience in building operations management,corporate reporting such as GRESB and/or NABERS rating experience.  

Utlising your project management skills and technical expertise, you will provide support in relation to technical requirements for the Green Star Performance v2 rating tool development, and support for internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver transformation of the built environment.

This will include delivering new versions and guidance for Green Star Performance v2, and providing updates to existing resources to ensure the rating tool remains technically robust and relevant to the market. 

This is a full-time role based in Sydney, though remote locations may be considered for the right candidate

Your new responsibilities

This varied and interesting role encompasses project delivery, technical support and collaboration across multiple teams.  

Key activities include:

  • Managing stakeholder involvement, leading expert reference panels, and presenting to governance bodies to ensure the successful adoption and approval of technical guidance. This will include collating feedback, developing actions for approval, managing project timelines, meetings and minutes.
  • Identifying and establishing processes and maintaining information within project management systems, as you assist in the operationalisation of rating tools.  
  • Approving technical questions and answering complex queries from stakeholders and project teams in relation to Future Focus rating tools.
  • Facilitating and developing thought leadership papers and guidance documents to support Green Star outcomes.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders as you assist the broader GBCA teams to understand Green Star tools and develop resources that support the understanding and use of new rating tools.
  • Assisting in the preparation, development, delivery and upkeep of education and training material for industry in relation to Green Star Performance. 

Your skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in one of the following: a discipline related to, engineering, planning, architecture, the sustainable built environment or similar.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in building operations management or similar.
  • Corporate reporting including GRESB submissions and/or NABERS rating experience.
  • Project or change management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the urban development industry, market related issues and ability to identify opportunities to engage in market issues.
  • Proven experience in working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and/ or planning skills.
