About the Role

As the Business Development Manager (BDM) at LSV, you will play a critical role in expanding LSV’s reach and impact. You will be responsible for sourcing new clients, developing marketing strategies, and building lasting partnerships with key stakeholders. Your role will also involve overseeing the operations of LSV’s community hub, ensuring sustainable and purpose-aligned activities, and driving continuous improvement in business development practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Grow LSV’s customer base in the NDIS, RTO, and community hub business units.
  • Develop and implement strategic business and marketing plans.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to promote LSV’s services and programs.
  • Manage the operations of the community hub, including venue hire and event coordination.
  • Identify and secure external funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and risk management practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly within the community services, NDIS, or RTO sectors.
  • Strong project management skills, from conception to completion.
  • Expertise in marketing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated financial management skills and experience with budget development.
  • Success in grant seeking and partnership development.
  • High-level communication skills, including report writing and community consultation.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Advanced IT and social media awareness, particularly in business development and marketing.
