About the Role

The Sales Lead position requires someone with significant sales experience who will thrive on proactively identifying and pursuing new clients.

You will have a demonstrated track record of generating leads and converting sales in a B2B environment. You have the ability to understand technical requirements at a broad level, and then relay them clearly and simply to potential clients.

In this role, you will report directly to the CEO, working independently but liaising closely with the Client Engagement team who are responsible for onboarding new clients.

The role would be ideal for an experienced professional who is looking to use their sales skills to make a real difference in the world, while working for an organisation that supports them as a person and can be flexible around other life obligations. It may also be appropriate for an experienced sales individual ready to step out on their own while working in a for-purpose business.

Be Rewarded:

  • The role can be part-time or full-time. It will initially be a 12-month contract with the possibility of the role being extended or becoming permanent.
  • Competitive salary with attractive incentive package (plus superannuation in accordance with the minimum requirements of the Superannuation Guarantee Administration Act 1992 (Cth))
  • All positions at GECA are primarily remote working roles, but team members must attend some in-person events and team meetings (normally in Sydney).
  • The role could be based anywhere in Australia, but some preference may be given to applicants based in Sydney.
  • Leave entitlements include:
    • 4 weeks (20 days full-time equivalent) annual leave in accordance with the National Employment Standards.
    • Additional leave, up to 3 days, between Christmas and New Year as part of the holiday office shutdown.
    • 2 additional days of volunteer leave which you can use to support a cause of your choice
    • Paid parental leave as per the GECA “Parental Leave Policy”.
