Our client, a prominent and expanding organisation in the community services sector is seeking an experienced leader to fill a newly created role on the Executive Leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, this newly created position will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth, innovation and program delivery, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations to enhance social inclusion and impact through training programs and employment pathways. Leading a team, you will empower individuals to deliver diverse programs and large-scale service contracts including NDIS, Youth, and Community Services, as well as drive growth and operations of an RTO and multiple social enterprises.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Develop and implement innovative strategies, identifying new business opportunities to drive significant expansion.
  • Operations Management: Ensure the smooth functioning of commercial enterprises, overseeing performance targets, quality standards, risk management and compliance with regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide inclusive and forward-thinking leadership, cultivating a positive and supportive work environment while mentoring and empowering staff to reach their full potential.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, funding contracts, and financial performance to ensure the sustainability of operations.
  • Information and Data: Ensure statistical information on client demographics are up to date and provide monthly reports in relation to the services, staff caseloads and client outcomes.
  • Relationships and Partnerships: Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organisations, and funding bodies.
  • Compliance: Ensure ethically operations aligned to our client’s mission, policies and values, and in accordance with relevant regulations, legislation, standards, Acts, and Agreements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong Business Leadership: A proven track record of leadership with a growth mindset Diversity and Inclusion: Experience in promoting diversity across compliance, personnel, teams, and systems.
  • Experience in Large-scale Service Implementation: Particularly in the areas of youth services and NDIS.
  • Client Focus: A commitment to high performance with a client-first mindset, including a direct approach to engaging customers and collaborating with the Communications Team to enhance brand awareness and social media presence.
  • Change Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead through organisational change effectively.
