Philanthropy Manager - Karrkad Kanjdji Trust

Gembridge Australia

The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust ("gada-gut guny-jee") brings together Indigenous ranger groups, communities, and philanthropists to address some of our nation’s most pressing issues. These include regenerating our natural environment, taking action on climate change, creating meaningful and equal employment opportunities, and supporting the continuation of the world’s oldest living culture.

The Philanthropy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing fundraising strategies, largely focused on Major Gifts. You will support and mentor a talented team of relationship managers, cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, family trusts, and foundations, and drive significant philanthropic support to further our mission. Your expertise in strategic planning, donor management, and team leadership will be crucial in achieving fundraising goals and expanding impact.

Reporting to the CEO, the Philanthropy Manager will also track, analyse and report on the major gift program performance and fundraising outcomes. You will also provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board, helping to inform decisions. You will stay informed of trends in the Australian philanthropic landscape, giving patterns, and regulatory changes to ensure alignment with current and emerging opportunities.
