Established in 2004, Learning for Life Autism Centre (L4Life) addresses the need for best practice early intervention and support for autistic children in Victoria, Australia. They extend this support across for young people to 18 years, aiming to empower autistic and neurodivergent individuals to lead lives of autonomy and purpose. Their mission emphasises delivering accessible, high-quality services based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis, alongside a strong commitment to inclusivity and child safety. Reporting to the CEO, the Philanthropy Manager will play a critical role in leading the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at increasing net revenue and ensuring the sustainability of services. This position will foster relationships with current and prospective donors and funders, engage stakeholders, and cultivate a network of supporters, all while adapting to new fundraising opportunities that arise over time.
A key focus of the role is relationship management with a portfolio of Major and Mid-level Donors, Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Supporters. You will initiate prospect research, develop stewardship and cultivation frameworks, and maintain professional relationships to secure support. The Philanthropy Manager will also oversee the planning and execution of strategic fundraising and stewardship events, volunteer involvement and digital strategies that maximise engagement and outcomes. You will be data-driven and able to evaluate activity effectiveness and regularly report on performance and find opportunities for improvement.
