The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust ("gada-gut guny-jee") brings together Indigenous ranger groups, communities and philanthropists to address some of our nation’s most pressing issues. These include regenerating our natural environment, taking action on climate change, creating meaningful and equal employment opportunities, and supporting the continuation of the world’s oldest living culture.
The Philanthropy Specialist will play a crucial role in driving impactful philanthropic initiatives through exceptional and proactive relationship management. Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you will be instrumental in KKT’s ability to support the work of rangers and communities across Arnhem Land, NT. Managing a portfolio of existing and new major donors, you will implement tailored cultivation, stewardship and engagement strategies to nurture these connections and enhance KKT’s fundraising efforts.
You will craft compelling proposals and applications that articulate the significance of KKT’s projects. Responsible for impact reporting and related donor communication initiatives, you will maintain high levels of donor engagement. Your seamless data management skills will ensure efficacy in donor interaction records, as well as allow for easy identification of prospecting and moves management opportunities.
Working collaboratively with other departments, including communications and program teams, you will align fundraising efforts to the goals of the organisation.
