Are you an established policy advisor with experience developing submissions and position statements at a national level? If this sounds like you, then our Program Manager role could be just what you are looking for.
As our Program Manager, Funding and Health System Reform you’ll lead a team of four senior policy professionals responsible for the development of submissions, position statements, member tools and advocacy. As the manager of the team, you’ll oversee a range of key projects including The General Practice: Health of the Nation report, the Federal Election Statement and funding models and models of care to support the Vision for general practice and a sustainable healthcare system. This role, as part of the broader Advocacy and Funding team, is critical in ensuring the role of a GP and our 41,000 members are advocated for.
With a proven policy background, you’ll have previous experience leading others and be confident in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve outcomes. Your previous experience within the Australian healthcare sector will be integral in supporting us to get the right outcomes for GPs.

The preferred location of this role is at our national office in East Melbourne. There is a partial work from home option available.
