SCOPE OF POSITION

The Project Coordinator will manage the implementation of the "Skilling at Scale" project. Within this project, they will drive initiatives to enhance Digital Finance Literacy and promote financial inclusion in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Thailand. This role involves planning, execution, and management of the project, designed to empower marginalised and excluded populations with the skills and confidence needed to effectively use digital tools and digital financial services (DFS). The successful candidate will work closely with partner agencies, financial institutions, and the Good Return internal team to develop and deploy digital financial literacy curriculum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CAFE Digital Financial Literacy Initiative Project Management (60%)

  • Manage the implementation of the CAFE Digital project across the targeted countries.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets based on project outcome requirements.
  • Align activities with project outcomes and support the project team to manage and achieve project targets and work plan milestones.
  • Coordinate project staff and activities according to plan and budget, escalating issues to the CAFE Program Manager, as needed
  • Develop comprehensive reports based on donor requirements and coordinate inputs from key team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring milestones and objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • KPIs:
    • Completion of project documentation.and timely and accurate reporting
    • Achievement of project targets within the allocated budget.
    • Support provided to the project team to achieve project targets.
    • Systematic capturing and reporting of project monitoring data/insights with high accuracy and quality.

CAFE Digital Initiative Digital Curriculum Design and Pilot Coordination (30%)

  • Coordinate the internal team to ensure alignment and collaboration on project goals and initiatives.
  • Support the cross expertise team with finalising desk/market research reports and learning resource frameworks.
  • Identify relevant technology providers for digital DFL content.in collaboration with the cross expertise team.
  • Work with technology providers, the design team, in-country staff to develop contextualised digital learning resources relevant for partners and countries.
  • Support the design and development of the CAFE Digital curriculum, resources, and learning materials, ensuring they are cost-effective and scalable.
  • Manage the pilot, developing implementation plans with support from in-country teams, and design partners workshop presentations, as required.
  • Finalise the development of digital and financial literacy training and facilitation guides with the design team.
  • Coordinate clear outreach and engagement activities with support from partners to ensure donor and country targets are met.
  • Support teams and partners to ensure local trainers and facilitators are able to deliver effective and impactful training sessions.
  • KPIs:
    • Development and deployment of contextualised digital learning resources.
    • Effective community outreach and engagement activities.
    • Quality and effectiveness of partner workshop presentations.
    • Feedback and impact of training sessions delivered by local trainers and facilitators.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning - CAFE Digital Project (10%)

  • Support the team and the Program Impact & Effectiveness Manager in implementing the CAFE Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning framework, coordinating testing as well as the data collection.
  • Contribute to the development of evaluation and review success stories, as required
  • Conduct regular monitoring project outcomes per country.
  • Provide insights and input on the design and iteration of different components of the CAFE digital initiative based on implementation, field testing, and monitoring results.
  • Promote and disseminate key lessons learned across the countries.
  • KPIs
    • Successful implementation of the MEL framework, aligned to donor metric requirements
    • Completion of reports and success stories
    • Effective promotion and dissemination of lessons learned

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential

  • A commitment to Good Return’s vision of a world without poverty.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of digital learning design, digital financial services and the challenges related to digital and financial literacy.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Master's degree in business, finance, education, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital financial education, e-learning platforms, etc.
  • Current knowledge of emerging issues in digital financial inclusion, financial education, and behavioral economics.
  • Ability to undertake regular international travel.
  • Confidence in using and adopting new technology (mobile apps, eLearning).
  • Passionate about financial inclusion and digital literacy.
  • Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in diverse environments.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.

Desirable

  • Local language skills/willingness to learn
