Scope of position

Manage Good Return’s fundraising efforts with new and existing corporate, foundation and high net wealth supporters. Coordinate events and ambassadors, and work collaboratively with marketing and fundraising team members to drive engagement and funding from high value supporter segments in line with strategic goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and grow corporate, foundation, trust and high net worth relationships and funding
    • Provide support to the Chief Development Director for all high value donor engagement requirements, including prospect research
    • Systematic cultivation and maintenance of partnerships
    • Develop and deliver on annual engagement plans for corporate partners, driving staff engagement and corporate giving
    • Nurture and grow foundation and high net worth supporters to secure grant income and impact investment capital
    • Manage briefs for marketing staff to produce a full communications and campaign requirements for pipeline of corporate partners, foundations and major donors
    • Liaise with the Program and Marketing team to provide a detailed report on the progress made through the partnership and produce impact reports for existing high value donors
  2. Coordinate events
    • Develop annual calendar of events with corporate partners, foundations and major donors and coordinate with the Event and Engagement Manager to deliver these events and ensure they meet the partnership objectives
    • Collaborate with marketing staff to ensure events are suitably promoted through collateral and comms material and supporters are engaged
  3. Manage Good Return Ambassador program
    • Develop and deliver on the strategy for engagement of Good Return Ambassadors
    • On-board new ambassadors that match the required profile per the strategy
    • Meet each Ambassador at least twice per year and nurture their engagement
    • Work with Ambassadors to develop individual annual plans and support them to deliver on these activities
    • Coordinate two Ambassador engagement events per year
    • Develop and deliver the Giving Circles program with Ambassadors and others
  4. Other tasks as required
    • This role involves travel for in person meetings to nurture existing and potential partnership opportunities
    • Contribute to the development of marketing and fundraising strategic & annual plans
    • Support other members of the team as required

  1. Corporate, Foundation and High Net Worth engagement targets achieved per approved annual business plan
  2. Weekly update and quarterly report on status and plans
  3. Event attendees rate high degree of satisfaction
  4. Ambassadors rate high degree of satisfaction
  5. Corporate, Foundation and High Net Worth supporters rate high degree of satisfaction

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success managing key client/supporter relationships
  • Outgoing personality and confident public presenter
  • Self-motivated person who takes pride in developing and executing a program from start to finish
  • Well organised with strong project management skills
  • A commitment to social justice and Good Return’s vision of a world without poverty

Desirable

  • Track record of successful fundraising with high value client/supporter segments
  • Salesforce experience
