  • Based in Collingwood, expectation to work in the HUB 5 days per week
  • SCHADS Level 6, $108,515.60 (plus super and salary packaging)

Role Purpose

The Community Hub Coordinator is responsible for leading a team and overseeing the effective day-to-day operations of the community hub. The coordinator ensures the delivery and management of the place-based no interest loan scheme (NILs) and enhances service offerings to benefit the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professional staff effectively, promoting open communication, teamwork, and delegation.
  • Coordinate the delivery of specialist integrated services, including programs such as; Financial Wellbeing, No Interest Loans (NILs), Financial Resilience Services, Family Violence and Family Services programs.
  • Oversee the delivery of Good Shepherd programs and services, ensuring alignment with funding and partner agreements.
  • Ensure services are client-centred and trauma-informed, fostering a responsive and supportive environment for clients.

About you

  • Demonstrated at least 3 years sector experience in a community service setting in delivering support programs and services to vulnerable people.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, Psychology or other related field is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experiencing leading and building high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated skills in community development practices to build local connections and engage with diverse groups and communities.
