Role Purpose

The Community Hub Coordinator is responsible for leading a team and overseeing the effective day-to-day operations of the community hub. The coordinator ensures the delivery and management of the place-based no interest loan scheme (NILs) and enhances service offerings to benefit the local community. A key aspect of the role is to assess the existing local services and programs to identify gaps and develop collaboration strategies to address them effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of professional staff effectively, promoting open communication, teamwork, and delegation.
• Coordinate the delivery of specialist integrated services, including programs such as; Financial Wellbeing, No Interest Loans (NILs),
• Financial Resilience Services, Family Violence and Family Services programs.
• Ensure services are client-centred and trauma-informed, fostering a responsive and supportive environment for clients.
• Establish referral pathways and collaboration opportunities with other service providers within the community.
  Manage the administration and delivery of the NILs program to clients in accordance with contractual requirements and service standards.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, Psychology or other related field is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated at least 3 years sector experience in a community service setting in delivering support programs and services to vulnerable people.
• Demonstrated experiencing leading and building high-performing teams.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
