Role Purpose

The Manager Family and Financial Counselling/Capability Services is responsible for the effective delivery of these services across the Bayside Peninsula.

This position will be responsible for Team Leaders that oversee the areas of Family Services, Financial Counselling and Capability services.  

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of an integrated, place-based strategy alongside senior leaders, emphasising client-centricity, ecological integration, and community co-delivery.
• Deliver services to comply with contract agreements, ensuring programs meet or exceed Funder expectations and requirements.
• Provide effective people leadership, cultivating a positive team culture, and fostering professional development and growth among team members.
• Oversee performance management processes, setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the continuous development of team members.
• Identify and support opportunities for integrated service partnerships, sharing insights and building capabilities to enhance effectiveness.  

About you

• Formal qualification in Social Work, Health Services, Psychology or other relevant discipline, and evidence of Registration where applicable.
• Experience working in leadership roles overseeing a range of services, including knowledge and expertise in Family Services and Financial Counselling/Capability.
• Relevant experience in a leadership role responsible for Program service delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff, including practice supervision, recruitment and managing individual key performance indicators.
