Gotcha4Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers inspirational, evidence-based, preventative mental fitness campaigns, programs, and services that build emotional adaptability, deepen social connectedness and promote help-seeking behaviours. Since 2017, Gotcha4Life has been on a mission to inspire and enable people of all ages to take action to build their mental fitness. Our vision is a world free of suicide, where no one worries alone. We are an energetic, fun, dynamic and growing team on a big mission and it's an exciting time to join us. Founded by media personality and all-round legend Gus Worland, at Gotcha4Life you'll get to work on high-profile projects that drive impact, with an accomplished and connected team.
As Gotcha4Life's Head of Impact and Evaluation, you will play a crucial role in driving our organisation's impact in the community. You will lead the delivery team and optimisation of our program delivery model, ensuring maximum impact and alignment with organisational goals. You will develop and implement strategies for sustainable impact growth and ensure our impact model’s effectiveness and sustainability. Reporting to the CEO, this role is built around collaboration and communication with internal teams and external partners and stakeholders. This is a full-time permanent role.
We have a hybrid approach to work that continues to evolve as we respond to what is best for our team and the people and communities we serve. Currently, we come together as a team at our Sydney CBD office 1-2 days a week to connect and collaborate. On other days, our team works from wherever it best works for them; either our office, from home or from wherever they are delivering programs too! We are a small and passionate team, driven by the impact we make.
Program Delivery Leadership: Lead the delivery of our programs and services across our model, to maximise our impact in the community. Inspire and guide the end-to-end participant experience, ensuring effectiveness, connection, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Oversee the day-to-day operations of program delivery (led by our Program Manager and supported by our Program Coordinator) and the collaboration with our program delivery partners and internal delivery team. Mentor and develop the delivery team, building capabilities, team satisfaction and fostering a supportive team culture.
Strategy and Impact growth, optimisation and sustainability: Develop and lead our impact strategy and framework. Evaluate and optimise our current impact model to ensure sustainable and scalable impact in line with organisational goals, including the introduction of a volunteer workforce. Collaborate with the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Partnerships to secure sustainable funding for our model and lead resource investment decisions and powerful reporting and storytelling to our funding partners and key stakeholders.
Effectiveness & Evaluation: Develop our monitoring and evaluation framework (including leading the development of our Social Return on Investment measure) to optimise the impact, outcomes, and sustainability of our delivery model. Use data and insights to make informed decisions, to continuously improve program effectiveness, take leadership in refining and enhancing current programs based on feedback best practice, evidence and observations, and share compelling stories with our beneficiaries, vision and mission always at the core.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Foster clear, transparent, and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and connection with our impact delivery. Work closely with program delivery partners to maintain strong relationships and optimised outcomes that align with organisational goals. Collaborate to ensure that external stakeholders, including funders and partners, are well-informed and engaged with our programs and organisational priorities. Lead efforts to integrate program insights and feedback into the broader organisation, creating a unified and collaborative environment where all teams feel connected to the impact being delivered.
You’re a passionate, mission-driven person with a deep commitment and connection to mental fitness and wellbeing. You are a collaborative and empathetic leader, able to build strong relationships and foster a supportive, inclusive environment. You’re analytical yet also creative, and you know how to use data to tell compelling stories and to optimise programs and impact. You’re experienced and adaptable, you navigate challenges with a solutions focus and lead others with backbone and heart.
You have a relevant degree in fields such as the Social Sciences, Public Health, Evaluation, Nonprofit Management, or similar. You have significant experience in program delivery, impact evaluation, or a similar role within the non-profit or social enterprise sector. You have a proven track record in developing and implementing impact strategies, as well as monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. You have experience with Social Return on Investment (SROI) or similar impact measurement tools. You have strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing teams and demonstrated excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, both internally and externally.
