We are recruiting for an Early Childhood Educator at our Yarraville service. This is a part time role working a minimum of 2 days per week (16 hours).
Yarraville is a 158-place service operating nine rooms (6 weeks to 5 years) including an integrated kinder program located a short walk from Yarraville Train station and surround by park lands.
As Early Childhood Educator you will report to the Room Leader in a self-managed team that is staffed over ratio. Working together you will implement a high-quality early learning program by demonstrating initiative and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
You will have a Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent. 12 months experience working in early childhood is preferred, but we will also consider new graduates who have a great values fit to Gowrie. You will be able to build and maintain great relationships with children, families and colleagues and can work effectively in a team.
A competitive hourly rate (we pay above award rates), 15 days personal leave and annual leave loading paid in December when you really need it!
We provide flexible planning time off the floor for all Educators. Regular adventures along Stony Creek with the children studying the wildlife on our doorstep. We also can participate in communities of practice and other development programs.
