Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future.
The Creative Team is made up of the Creative Producer and a Creative Lead, and sits within the Creative and Technology Department, alongside colleagues in engineering, insights and user experience (UX). The primary goal of Greenpeace is to bring down the might of the fossil fuel order standing in the way of a sustainable future; this team's job is to produce creative projects that fulfil this goal. Whether it's stopping a huge new dangerous coal mine, taking the fight of the Pacific to the world's biggest stages, or pushing huge corporations to ditch coal, you'll be working on campaigns we believe will make the world safer and more just.
Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is looking for a Creative Producer to drive the design and development of strategic creative projects. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing creative content strategies for our campaigns and projects, and producing photo, video, design and multimedia content that inspires people to act for a green and peaceful future. You’ll also provide creative advice to campaign and project teams, and help us scale our creative capabilities by upskilling and training staff and volunteers to create their own content.
We’re looking for someone with a clear creative vision, who knows how to make creative content successful in a campaign context. You’ll have strong collaboration skills with the ability to work well with people from different backgrounds, and know how to bring others along on the creative journey with you. As this is a dynamic role with multiple projects on the go at the same time, you’ll also have terrific project management skills, and be confident in managing your own workflow while playing a critical role in a range of other projects. Experience working in branding, and/or in a campaigning organisation, are also a huge plus.
You’ll also have:
Salary $86,188.42 per annum + Superannuation
This role can be performed remotely (within Australia or the Pacific), with travel to Sydney for quarterly team meetings, or from our office in Sydney.
