Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future. Our priority focus in the Australia Pacific region is tackling climate change.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for a 12-month contract.
The Gifts in Wills Coordinator works in the Gifts in Wills program, which is part of the High Value Team. The High Value Fundraising team works to attract new supporters and donors to Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) so that we can grow our people-powered movement and impact. As Greenpeace campaigns are 100% funded by individual supporters, it is vital that we grow our base of supporters and donors so that we can remain fiercely independent as we fight together for our fragile planet and the magnificent diversity of life that call it home.
Our team facilitates key streams of financial support to fund high-impact campaigns that provide a voice for this fragile planet. Greenpeace is and always will be independent which means that we never accept any money from any government, business or political party.
The Gifts in Wills program focuses on encouraging loyal supporters to leave a charitable gift in their will to Greenpeace. We do this by providing warm, informed and inspirational interactions with them. The program also focuses on acquiring new supporters and inspiring the public to learn more about this form of giving, through a diverse range of activities and channels.
The Gifts in Wills Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Gifts in Wills Manager, to manage day-to-day tasks across acquisition and retention across both telefundraising and digital fundraising activities.
Some of the core responsibilities of the role will include:
In this role, you will also work closely with the rest of the High Value Team and provide support to the Middle Donor and Major Donor programs as needed, helping to power Greenpeace campaigns. This is a great role to learn more about Gifts in Wills and High Value fundraising, while helping to protect the planet.
We’re looking for someone with experience in general coordination, administration and exposure to fundraising/telefundraising environments. You’ll be highly organised and an effective communicator, having the ability to adapt to different dynamics and diverse demographics.
To be successful in this role you need to be tech savvy, having experience in using our suite of digital tools, including: Google suite, Social Media, Canva, Hubspot, Wordpress and SEO (or similar platforms). In addition, you will be able to jump in and build reports, analyse, import, export and interpret data from Salesforce or similar CRM.
In order to support our High Value Fundraising Program, we would love someone who is passionate about the legacy and history of Greenpeace. This would come through your writing and execution of professional, clear and inspiring communications with supporters and prospects (including phone, email, newsletters, mail).
Annual full-time salary: $79,404.95 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
Open to applicants in Sydney only - Hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week onsite at our Rosebery office.
