Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is one of Australia's most trusted charities with a long history of providing services to clients who have low vision or blindness to promote their independence.

We have an exciting opportunity for career growth and progression in our fundraising team for an Individual Giving Manager to join us that is invested and responsible for delivery of the creation, implementation and continued innovation of single and regular giving campaigns.

The role is a 10 month contract and the individual has the opportunity to take the lead on all activity within this program and we are looking for a data driven fundraiser with proven experience in this space who can use their trial and test mentality to inform future strategies and opportunities for improvement.

Key areas of the role include:

  • Continue implementation of and evolve the Individual Giving strategy and annual business plan, to drive growth from the current and future portfolio and maximise net income.
  • Provide accurate and timely analysis of the overall Individual Giving program to aid single and regular giving acquisition, retention and delinquency tactics and to maximise revenue and donor life time value.
  • Coordinate regular direct mail and digital communications to existing donors to maximise income and return on investment (ROI).
  • Assist with the development and implementation of single and regular giving donor journeys; increased conversion from analogue to digital giving; and intergenerational product offerings.
  • Manage and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, service providers and team members.
  • Produce and monitor timelines for each single and regular giving campaign to ensure programs are executed on time.
  • Work with the Data Team to implement data segmentation strategies and prepare data extractions and analysis.

About you

To have success in the role you will be a driven fundraising professional who seeks out opportunities for innovation and improvement, using data to inform decisions. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing an Individual Giving program
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and delivering portfolio strategy and plans with demonstrable results.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Have an ongoing ambition and commitment to trial and test innovative fundraising techniques
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to interpret and apply learnings, whilst making data-driven decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
