Community First Development
Community First Development is a First Nations community development and research organisation that creates positive change in and with First Nations communities. They undertake social and economic development and research projects in partnership with First Nations communities, businesses and people. They do this through providing tailored support through community partners, skilled staff, trained volunteers, key supporters and service providers.

The Role
- Provide executive support to the CEO including general research, calendar, inbox, travel and meeting management
- Secretariat support - collation of Board papers, drafting minutes and agenda items
- Provide wider administrative support to the Board of Directors
- Provide general administrative support to 5 General Managers
- Assist with corporate functions including payroll, HR and ICT
- Other administrative and logistical support tasks, as required
Your Background and Experience
You will have the following:
- An understanding of contemporary First Nations issues and a passion for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island community groups
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or executive assistant position
- Ability to prioritise conflicting needs and meet tight deadlines
- Be driven and able to take the initiative to complete tasks
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage issues of a sensitive nature
Salary / Rate
- $72,931 + 9.5% Super, including PBI benefits + parking
- Option to work full-time or part-time (4 days per week)
- Permanent position
