In Australia, Habitat supports vulnerable families through the building and repair of homes and domestic violence refuges, construction training for women and providing subsidised rentals to vulnerable families. Our services include various volunteering programs for corporates, schools and individuals, disaster recovery assistance and partnerships to provide and improve housing solutions.

It is an exciting time at Habitat for Humanity Australia (HFHA). Our three-year strategy will support our ambitious goal of increasing our impact in Australia and throughout the Asia Pacific region. This will only happen through new innovations, new ways of thinking and the right people. We will shortly be located in a fantastic space based at UTS in Haymarket.

HFHA supports flexible working practices. This role is a part-time two day a week role.

The Direct Marketing Administrator will support the objectives of the fundraising team by ensuring best practice processes are followed and donor and volunteer data is well managed and maintained. The successful applicant will play a key role in contributing to HFHA’s strategic fundraising and volunteering objectives, including the implementation and evaluation of direct marketing campaigns such as donation appeals and domestic and overseas volunteering.

As the Direct Marketing Administrator, your duties will include:

Assist the Direct Marketing Manager in the implementation of direct mail and online appeals, including the exporting of data and preparation of materials.

  • Provide a timely summary of results following campaigns to be analysed, enabling continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide administrative support through the use of the Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce) and Volunteer Management platform.
  • Assist the corporate volunteering program by overseeing the booking calendar, providing customer service to key contacts, responding and actioning requests from partners.
  • Providing reliable ad hoc administrative support including general email inboxes are answered appropriately.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

  • High level of customer service at all times and the ability to represent HFHA positively
  • Ability to learn quickly and enthusiastically
  • Microsoft Office proficient, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proven ability to work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a Not-for-Profit Organisation
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM (or similar)

The successful applicant will also need to:

  • Provide evidence of a clear criminal history and adhere to HFH's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Have solid relationship and customer service ethics, be proud and supportive of Habitat’s work, and the ethos of a Christian aid organisation and its mission and vision.
