About the Role

In this role you will lead a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organisation to ensure a high level of service delivery and that accreditation and quality governance requirements are met.

  • Lead and be responsible for maintaining the quality framework including managing Document Control of policies, procedures and forms
  • Exercise a leadership, coordination, and communication role to drive continuous improvement across the organisation, using a risk-based approach
  • Coordination and monitoring of quality accreditation activity across the organisation
  • Lead a team of direct and indirect reports to develop and implement best practice, including identification of corrective action and areas of improvement
  • Support CEO with maintenance of the organisation's Risk Register and requirement of the Risk Audit Committee
  • Maintain oversight of organisational compliance to the Privacy Act and national privacy principles
  • Manage data breach response team and report notifiable data breaches to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme wherever required.

About You

Importantly, you are passionate about the health outcomes of both clients and the broader community and can demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in a similar role in a health/community services medium-sized organisation managing the formal quality accreditation system
  • Tertiary qualified with experience working across various ISO and other certification standards.
  • Empathetic, sensitive and culturally aware communication style plus the willingness to work with various stakeholders; including people who use substances, health workers and other staff, as well as external stakeholders
  • Lead Internal Auditor Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be beneficial
  • Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas to a range of audiences in both written and oral form, listen to others in an unbiased manner, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficient computer skills –using multiple database systems (at QuIHN our Quality Management System is Qudos)
  • Ability to achieve a successful police check
  • Due to the vulnerable population served, employees at QuIHN are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

  • Salary packaging options (up to $15,900 + $2,650 meals and entertainment)
  • 3 days additional leave days (Company Days – not from annual leave accrual) betweenChristmas and New Year
  • Full-time is QuIHN's preference but open to 9 day fortnight and Hybrid working options
