The Harrison Riedel Foundation (HRF) was founded in 2017 with the mission to improve mental health outcomes for young people. We develop accessible, technology-driven support tools, including our flagship product, the YourCrew app. YourCrew is a preventative mental health resource designed to guide young people and their support networks towards effective self-help and professional support.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Engagement Officer to refine and implement our school engagement strategy, focusing on the YourCrew Classroom initiative. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, strategy evaluation, material development, and rollout planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and expand the YourCrew program based on pilot feedback.
  • Evaluate and recommend scalable versus personalised engagement strategies for schools.
  • Develop and standardise engaging presentation materials with some customisation flexibility.
  • Strategise and plan the rollout of YourCrew Classroom, prioritising schools for engagement.
  • Support teacher engagement and provide follow-up resources.
  • Coordinate with social media and advertising efforts to increase program visibility.
  • Manage and potentially grow the team responsible for school engagements.
  • Provide flexible support across the organisation as needs arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience in program development and rollout, preferably in educational or youth-focused settings.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and technology-driven solutions.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and influence strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Critical data analysis skills, thought leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
