The Haymarket Foundation is a local, secular, charitable organisation focused on people experiencing homelessness and other disadvantage in Sydney.

The Haymarket Foundation exists to give opportunities to people marginalised by society. We understand the people we work with come from a background of complex trauma, and we use this understanding to advocate and deliver multidisciplinary services that are inclusive, safe, and offer freedom of choice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will strengthen and grow the fundraising capability of The Haymarket Foundation through the delivery of the newly developed Fundraising Strategy. The role will increase and diversify revenue through identifying, sourcing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate organisations, private donors, and public giving programs.

Success in this role is critical to ensuring the Haymarket Foundation has the appropriate financial resources and community support to achieve its purpose and goals of its Strategic Plan.

This is a part time position, 3 days for 12 months (fixed term contract) with the possibility of extension. Situated in Chippendale with WFH opportunities.

KEY Responsibilities

  • Secure, nurture and grow the corporate partner and major donor portfolio
  • Manage the end-to-end partnership process
  • Identify and prospect for new corporate partnership and major donor opportunities
  • Support on developing and delivering compelling pitches for grant applications
  • Provide reporting and analysis
  • Ensure data in Salesforce is maintained

selection criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Fundraising and/or Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
  • A valid Police Check – or the ability to obtain this.
  • Significant experience developing and managing large corporate partnerships and major donors in the not-for-profit space, with success in achieving fundraising targets and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining and growing a portfolio of corporate partners to extract long-term support
  • Storytelling is a key part of engaging with our supporters, so impeccable written and oral communication skills in this area is essential.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, small team environment that requires taking responsibility for a diverse range of hands-on tasks.
  • Software competencies:
    • A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook )
    • Experience with CRM Databases, with experience in Salesforce highly desirable.
