We are looking for an experienced, well organised and enthusiastic Project Officer. This role is for someone skilled in project management, and experience working with people with disability who has a detailed understanding of the issues they face in accessing health and wellbeing services.

This part-time position is a member of our Health Literacy team and will support the delivery of our ACT Disability Health Strategy Health Literacy Project through effective project management and community engagement.

The role would suit someone with an understanding of health literacy and the social determinants of health, and a commitment to social justice and consumer empowerment.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in:

• Project management and administration
• Working with diverse community groups or individuals
• Writing a variety of documents including consumer information, minutes of meetings and workshops, and project reports

The position is fixed term until 30 June 2025 and is dependent on external funding.

Working Arrangements

Flexible working arrangements are available and can be negotiated between the successful candidate and the project manager. Current flexible working arrangements require staff to work at the HCCA office at least two days a week as well as offsite.
