About the role
As a Be You Consultant, you'll work closely with schools in NSW and ACT to bring the Be You initiative to life. Your mission? Help schools foster positive mental health initiatives for students, staff, and families. You'll guide, coach, and inspire schools to create mental health-friendly environments and navigate tough times with competence.
Your key skills
- Helping schools develop and roll out plans for mental health promotion, early intervention, and resilience.
- Supporting schools through the hard stuff, like responding to and recovering from critical incidents.
- Bringing your A-game with evidence-based strategies that make a difference.
Who we're looking for
We want someone who's passionate, driven, and ready to make an impact who can tick these boxes:
- A Bachelor's degree in education, public health, community development, or allied health (psychology, social work, mental health nursing, etc.).
- Solid understanding of school systems (especially in NSW & ACT) and the challenges young people face.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills -ability to make positive connections.
- Confidence coaching school leaders and sparking meaningful change.
