About this role

The Team Leader, Projects will, simultaneously, lead a passionate team of senior project professionals, as well as leading a range of complex projects. These projects vary depending on funding but some exciting activities the team are working on at the moment are:

  • Administering the annual World AIDS Day Parliamentary Breakfast in Parliament House and our members’ Leadership Forum
  • Trial projects – including HIV opt-out testing and HIV peer tracing
  • A range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and cultural diversity projects

The Team Leader, Projects will ensure all projects are properly resourced, budgeted and delivered on time, while supporting the team to achieve project outcomes.

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the work we do and is excited to work in a team achieving big things. We would like you to be:

  • An experienced leader of small teams
  • A project manager who has managed multiple complex projects simultaneously

It would be great if you have:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or community sector
  • Knowledge of HIV, public health and LGBTIQA+ identities and other populations
