The Team and Role

In addition to the thousands of clients and support workers who regularly use the Hireup platform, Hireup also works closely with various industry partners including other support providers, support coordinators and beyond.  We’re looking for a motivated, passionate and purpose driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of our industry and trade marketing strategies in order to accelerate Hireup’s plans to forge partnerships across the disability sector. 

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager - Support Worker and Trade, we are looking for a well-rounded B2B marketer who will partner closely with our Industry Engagement and Provider teams to elevate storytelling and create reasons to be in market. Responsibilities include developing presentation materials and collateral, digital marketing assets, content, events and campaigns in close collaboration with our other marketing counterparts.

Priorities - the work

  • Support and drive the growth of Hireup’s industry partnerships and programs to deliver on growth and engagement KPIs. Being goal focused ensures we are driving Hireup’s central mission of serving and positively impacting the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
  • Work alongside Hireup’s Industry Engagement and Provider teams as their marketing partner, coordinating with leaders across other marketing functions, product, service and tech to deliver assets, campaigns and materials
  • Manage, scale, measure and optimise marketing strategies and budgets, coordinating with counterparts across digital, brand and content ensuring consistent and aligned execution of the marketing strategy and ROI efficacy across channels 
  • Have a relentless focus on understanding the needs of our industry partners to develop segmented messaging and value propositions of Hireup’s offerings
  • Ensure a balance between shorter term educational and engagement activities with activation, conversion and utilisation of Hireup by industry partners
  • Build rapport and relationship with our existing customer base

Skills - the person

  • Strong Australian disability sector knowledge, someone who understands and can relate to the needs of our community and our customers, is highly desirable 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of B2B marketing strategies and plans, balancing areas including but not limited to collateral creation, events & expos, content and digital marketing across owned, paid and earned media
  • Customer centric - leveraging data, research and customer experience to inform segmentation, value proposition development and campaign design and decision making.
  • A growth focus - an enthusiastic and strategic individual with highly developed problem solving and critical thinking skills, willing to test and learn new strategies, concepts and activities 
  • A strong attention to detail, being able to focus on the performance of the business and the balance needed for the community
  • Results orientated - experience developing different measurement and attribution models, ensuring all key activities are measured and investments are tracked and monitored.
  • Great interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage by influence
