Huntington’s Australia is a national leader in the delivery of services to support, empower and improve the lives of people impacted by Huntington’s Disease (HD). In addition to targeted counselling and support activities we provide NDIS services, and education and training for the medical, allied health, aged care and community sectors.
This important part time role, which could be done from any city in which we operate (Adelaide, Brisbane, Launceston, Sydney or Perth), is part of the national Business Development, Fundraising and Partnerships Team.
The role will be instrumental in building sustainable income streams to allow our work to continue. The role will develop and coordinate the national grants and foundations program in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role will lead the production (writing, editing and proof reading) of submissions, monitor deadlines for applications and acquittals, and develop and nurture relationships with foundation and philanthropic key stakeholders.
This challenging, part time role will suit an articulate and fluent wordsmith. Your experience in grant writing will be complemented by your aptitude for research, analysis and interpretation of data. Great written communication skills and research skills will be essential as you work effectively to achieve deadlines and balance priorities.
