THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $79,017 - $84,821 per annum pro rata + 11% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.4 EFT (Wednesday’s and Friday’s).
  • Location: Chadstone campus – travel to other campuses required.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Position Status: Ongoing contract of appointment with a 6-month qualifying period.

ABOUT YOU

  • Graduate Certificate in Careers Development or related field, with relevant experience. Membership of relevant Career Counselling professional organisation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment services, recruitment programs, and relevant businesses/agencies.
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing client needs and policies.
  • Experience in educational environments, emphasising careers counselling and autonomous decision-making.
  • Understanding of government initiatives, policies related to job readiness and employment services as well as familiarity with career development theory, individual career counselling, and the labour market.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, adept at prioritising in demanding environments.
  • Valid and current Drivers Licence.
