- Flexible role – days, hours and location. 35 Hours per week, with a minimum of 21 hours. Based in Woolloomooloo with work from home option.
The L&D Project Manager is a strategic role that strives to enhance workforce capability across the Specialist Homelessness Sector (SHS). Reporting to the Manager, Industry Partnership key responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with the sector, key stakeholders and government to identify services training and development needs.
- Responsibility for the design, coordination and renewal of the L&D framework and effective learning programs across the SHS sector.
- Keeping up to date with learning and development trends and provide recommendations on opportunities to provide innovative programs.
- Working with external facilitators to provide strategic advice on training schedules.
- Contribute to projects in the Industry Partnership as required.
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Background in developing and implementing capability frameworks.
- Significant Learning and Development experience (operational and strategic).
- Demonstrated experience of developing and implementing an organisational L&D strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to use high levels of initiative, highly effective time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to plan, implement, monitor, communicate, review, and provide progress reports.
- Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training, or a minimum 4 years’ experience in L&D roles, including developing tools, resources, and training materials.
- A strong commitment to working in a social justice environment.
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience in identifying and completing relevant, government and private sector, grant and philanthropic income opportunities to increase organisational revenue in line with strategic objectives
- Experience working in a not-for-profit environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using data analytics
