Here’s what the role entails

CareSouth is offering a fulfilling opportunity for a highly motivated Asset & Infrastructure Manager to join the CareSouth Executive Leadership team. This is a newly created role and will report directly to the Executive Officer - Business. The role is permanent full-time, based on the South Coast of NSW, and the location can be negotiable for the right applicant.

As the Asset & Infrastructure Manager, you will manage and lead a team of professionals, and apply your extensive asset and property management knowledge and skills to bring a holistic approach to CareSouth. Your success in this role will be demonstrated through your ability to lead strategically and in line with CareSouth’s values.

The role is varied and dynamic, with key responsibilities including:

  • Property and asset management: Oversee all activities and requirements from property inspections, processes and lease and licence agreements to initiating new expansion/contract options and asset purchases.
  • Planned, cyclical and Major Works: Manage new and existing building services and oversee facilities maintenance across all locations.
  • Procurement: Develop and implement effective procurement processes, including category management strategies.
  • WHS & risk management: Responsible for the provision of safe, accessible, and appropriate work venues, facilities, and vehicles, including the review of related policies.
  • Contractor management: Oversee all contractors and implement policy and procedures to ensure all works are carried out accurately and meet all requirements.

About you

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • A passionate leader who can influence, engage, and develop a performance-based culture in line with organisational values
  • Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience in managing investment, commercial and residential portfolios.
  • A working knowledge of legislative requirements related to WHS properties requirements.
  • A successful track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring WHS safety systems and procedures.
  • Ability to draft, review and advise on property related contracts and agreements.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the proven ability to deliver on outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in the analysis and evaluation of data as well as strong financial management skills.
