PCYC is the leading WA youth organisation. We work with the WA Police Force, Community and Government Agencies to ensure that young people across WA reach their potential. This all happens from our 16 centres located from Albany in the South, to Kununurra in the North-West. We know that the fastest way to creating parity for our youth is through education and sustainable employment opportunities, by providing alternative pathways to traditional schooling. WA PCYC’s RTO; Institute of Training (IOT) leads this capability across the WA PCYC network. We are currently looking for an RTO Compliance Lead. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, based in Subiaco.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Institute of Training Manager, the role of the RTO Compliance Lead is to oversee the quality of the RTO’s systems to ensure that its operations and training delivery are aligned with the requirements of the VET Quality Framework and their funding contracts.

About you

  • Experience managing RTO Compliance
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015.
  • Experience in using an RTO student management system (preferably VETtrak)
  • Experience working with DTWD Funding contracts and systems (TAMS)
  • Experience making DTWD lodgements, claim and contract variations.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Independent research skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft Office packages (Word and Excel) as a minimum.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications and Certificates

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
  • A current leadership and/or management qualification; Cert IV or Higher
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
