With support from federal and Victorian governments, we are in an exciting phase of growth, with a strong focus on brand awareness and expanding our operations.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Partnerships Lead to develop and manage partnerships with industry, key stakeholders, private sector organisations, networks, and individuals. This is a hands-on role that requires a skilled relationship builder with a passion for creating mutually beneficial collaborations that drive business growth and deliver on strategic and marketing objectives.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Partnerships Lead will work closely with ECA’s marketing, communications, events, and accreditation teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and thrive in both independent and collaborative environments within a small, close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Identify and assess potential partners aligned with ECA’s mission, values, and goals.
- Develop partnership strategies and action plans to achieve strategic and marketing outcomes.
- Build and manage a prospect pipeline, focusing on:
- Private Sector (40%): Corporate businesses, procurement networks, and ethical business initiatives.
- Industry Stakeholders (40%): Government agencies, educational institutions, local councils, and philanthropic bodies.
- Australian Fashion Industry (20%): Fashion festivals, retailers, and advocates for ethical fashion.
Proposal Development and Negotiation
- Create compelling partnership proposals showcasing mutual value.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and negotiate terms to finalise agreements.
Relationship Management
- Act as the primary contact for partners, ensuring strong, productive relationships.
- Track and measure partnership performance against key indicators.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and support partner communications.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work with marketing, events, and accreditation teams to fulfil partnership commitments.
- Contribute to the marketing and events calendar by identifying key activities.
Administration
- Maintain a CRM database with partnership and stakeholder information.
- Develop and adhere to partnership policies and procedures.
- Provide detailed reports on partnership outcomes and metrics.
