About the Opportunity

The Recovery Support Officer- Client Support is a member of the Recovery Support business unit and responsible for providing client support to enquires relating to Road Trauma Support WA and project support for all recovery support activities. This role is an administration and phone-based role, which delivers support and information to anyone impacted by Road Trauma in Western Australia. The Recovery Support Officer- Client Support will ensure all enquires responded to via phone or email are in a confidential, empathetic and professional way.

The Recovery Support Officer- Client Support is responsible for the following:

  1. Provide professional direct support and information to clients impacted by road trauma
  2. Contribute to and support the promotion of recovery support services
  3. Work with clients to understand, assess and provide information depending on their needs
  4. Provide project and administration support for all recovery support activities
  5. Provide recovery support interventions for Injury Matters in accordance with professional, legal and contractual obligations

About You

You will have excellent communication and client service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships. You will have experience in a similar role where you have had to deal with confidential information and offer empathetic support to emotional or distressed clients. Ideally, you will have experience working in mental health and well being, injury prevention, social work, disability, road safety or not-for-profit. You will be committed and passionate about supporting people in recovery.

Working at Injury Matters

This position is a full-time, max-term position to July 2021 with a possibility of extension, based in our Leederville office. Some intra and interstate travel may be required. At times you may be required to work outside of regular business hours. Injury Matters is a family-friendly, flexible workplace.
