The Volunteer Transport Coordinator role is integral in maintaining the quality and effectiveness of our volunteer transport program, making a significant impact on Access Health and community services. Reporting to the Ageing and Social Support Coordinator, you will oversee the AccessHC Volunteer Transport program which provides volunteer drivers to transport participants to clinical appointments, exercise, and social groups. Your responsibilities will include, coordinating the program and recruiting a pool of volunteer drivers and supporting and developing the program to meet community needs ensuring the program meets quality and funding requirements and serving as a driver when necessary.
The role will ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards in the delivery of the service and develop internal and external partnerships that extend the reach and quality of the program and play a leadership role in designing, delivering and leading the growth of the program.
