Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is for-purpose national organisation based in Perth with a focus on empowering people to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community.  Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service and CAEP+ and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble and AT Chat.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent relationship management skills who is passionate about supporting people to grow positively in older age.

Primary responsibilities include identifying new, or pursuing existing, partnership opportunities with like-minded organisations to advance the expansion of LiveUp into new and exciting domains of healthy ageing, to explore partnership opportunities for KeepAble and new pilot initiatives at iLA. Liaising with key funder stakeholders and expanding iLA’s relationships with state and federal government departments. Working collaboratively with a national team of product, content, community engagement and innovation professionals to ensure iLA takes advantage of partnership opportunities to increase brand trust and engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships and business development opportunities that align with iLA’s values and strategic objectives. 
  • Define and develop new growth opportunities across diverse revenue streams. Generate and nurture leads to foster business-to-business relationships that align with the iLA's strategic and business plan.
  • Build and sustain key stakeholder and strategic relations and partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement iLA’s Partnership Engagement Plan
  • Oversee and manage the negotiation, creation, and implementation of all partnership contracts, agreements, and related documentation. 
  • Network and engage broadly across the sector to identify mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and alignment with iLA project objectives

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have experience establishing, developing and maintaining partnerships that support organisational growth and have excellent relationship management skills. Experience in the not-for-profit sector highly regarded. In particular, the Partnership Growth Lead will:

  • Demonstrated working experience in developing and managing successful partnerships, contracts and agreements, particularly with government and suppliers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to forge effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Highly developed skills in stakeholder relations and managing partnerships.
  • Well-developed knowledge and skills in contract development and management.
  • Highly effective in networking, relationship building and negotiation skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with information technology, client data base, and office suite applications.
