Impact you will make in this role

The Acquisition Specialist will support the expansion and diversification of donor acquisition strategies to build and maintain a strong pipeline of individual donors. This is a critical role that is seeking a data-driven fundraiser with solid project management skills.
In this position, you will help develop and implement a dynamic, multi-channel acquisition strategy aimed at attracting new donors and driving ambitious growth for Regular Giving, Single Giving and Gifts in Wills.

Your efforts will ensure applying best practices in supporter onboarding to ensure sustainability and maximise return on investment, contributing to the overall success of our fundraising program. You will also play a key role in integrating the GIW program, driving lasting growth and helping to amplify the future impact of ChildFund’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop key multi-channel acquisition and conversion programs, working closely with Digital and Direct Marketing teams to drive lead generation and single-gift activities.
  • Leverage data insights to understand and optimise donor acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Acquisition Specialist to convert single gifts and leads into regular giving through telemarketing and direct mail.
  • Implement new fundraising channels alongside the Individual Giving Manager.
  • Assist in executing campaign communications across phone, face-to-face, direct mail, digital, and SMS channels.
  • Coordinate tasks with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, copywriters, mail houses, agencies, data vendors, and digital platforms.

Experience & Skills

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, project management, or similar transferable skills.
  • Proven experience in multi-channel acquisition strategies and programs, with capabilities in developing and implementing supporter engagement plans.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and campaigns from start to finish.
  • Experience in a results-driven environment.
  • A data driven approach to acquisition strategies with strong understanding of data analysis and segmentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Critical thinker focused on process improvement and performance enhancement.
  • Confident and inspiring with strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal stakeholders across various functions and levels.
