Australia for UNHCR (A4U) is the UN Refugee Agency’s national partner in Australia, raising awareness and funds to support UNHCR’s global emergency response to humanitarian crises.
Established in 2000, A4U has raised over $480m from individual donors, philanthropists and corporates, leading to direct impact on the ground delivering emergency support such as shelter, protection, clean water, food and medicines.
The Head of Fundraising is a leadership opportunity that plays a significant role in the development and implementation of strategies to acquire new and upgrade existing donors across Australia and New Zealand.
This role will drive A4U’s transformational diversification strategy across regular giving, single giving, appeals and community fundraising, with a specific focus on enhancing A4U’s digital presence on all programs to foster greater engagement and reach. This role will also lead the emergency fundraising response to maximise income and donor engagement.
You will collaborate with Executive leaders to shape the strategic direction and work with diverse teams to harness data-driven insights and align initiatives with audience needs. Partnering with UNHCR, you’ll ensure strategies align with global goals and foster a culture of innovation.
We are seeking an inspirational leader with a proven track record of successfully growing and optimising fundraising programs, with experience in driving digital initiatives. You will have your finger on the pulse of emerging global fundraising trends and be eager to push boundaries, employing your creativity and innovative mindset to explore and test new methods that will drive growth.
