Impact of the organisation and the impact you will have in this role

The Insights Analyst manages data and reporting for the growing Regular Giving program at this impactful national organisation.

Working closely with a team of Fundraising Analysts and supported by a Senior Manager, this role will ensure that Regular Giving data is accurately recorded in the donor database (Raiser’s Edge) to analyse program performance and provide insights into how to optimise the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import Regular Giving donor data into the database in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of quality
  • Export data from the donor database to form input sources for other systems or business processes (cleaning and transforming as required)
  • Prepare data for engagement activities based on the behaviour of Regular Giving donors
  • Lead the translation and visualisation of donor analytics into actionable insights that optimise the donor experience, meet organisational requirements for data segmentation, develop strategy recommendations and inform performance
  • Develop and manage reports/dashboards across Regular Giving programs
  • Provide post program analysis reports and recommendations as required internally
  • Process tax receipting on an annual basis
  • Use and develop tools/automated processes to efficiently manage data and maintain/improve its quality

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience preparing and loading data into a database, in a fundraising context
  • Fundraising data and reporting skills
  • Awareness of data quality dimensions and experience managing and improving data quality
  • Strong CRM experience, ideally with experience using Raiser’s Edge
  • Proficient use of Excel
  • Experience with reporting/visualisation principles and tools
  • Experience transforming and manipulating data for business purposes
  • Ability to assess and analyse information needs and design effective data solutions
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with an ability to work autonomously and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience managing relationships with a wide and diverse range of internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, continuous development, and knowledge sharing with the drive to make an impact across health-focused programs on a national scale
