Exciting opportunity to be a part of coordinating and executing learning and development initiatives that make a difference in the lives of our ageing communities.
The Older Persons Advocacy Networks (OPAN) is a national network of independent member organisations that give a voice to older people seeking or receiving government-funded aged care services.
The network provides free and confidential aged care advocacy, information and education to older people, their families or representatives.
As a peak body organisation, OPAN works with the government and other agencies to influence aged care policy through systemic advocacy.
Our collective vision is of a society where older people are heard, informed and respected, and where they can enjoy and exercise their rights to live fulfilling lives.
This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and support the development and rollout of OPAN education programs and assist with the logistics of education forums that include webinars, conferences and varied learning and development initiatives.
The learning and development initiatives you will help to coordinate and develop are tailored to support and positively impact older people and their families, the aged care workforce and our network of aged care advocates.
