Impact You Will Have In This Role

Join them on their mission as the Partnerships Manager; reporting into the Head of Partnerships and Community, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of corporate partnerships through expansion and relationship development, supported by a dynamic and passionate team.

You will use your partnership experience to nurture and build relationships with key corporate partners, spot new partnership opportunities, develop innovative and compelling proposals, drive fundraising initiatives, and manage workplace giving programs.

Your innovative approach and strategic mindset, coupled with your ambitious and energetic attitude to creating meaningful relationships will help secure new opportunities, grow existing partnerships, and ensure that funding makes an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships and the General Manager of Fundraising & Marketing to drive revenue through new corporate partnerships
  • Manage and develop the new business pipeline with a focus on acquisition of new strategic and high value corporate partners whilst also effectively managing and developing ACRF’s existing partner relationships
  • Identify new and strategic opportunities to engage with partners and develop multi-faceted proposals to include strategic partnerships, community campaigns, Peer2Peer opportunities and workplace giving programs
  • Develop and deliver creative, innovative and compelling pitches and proposals that are mutually beneficial with a focus on high value and multiyear partnerships
  • Provide exceptional service to corporate partners by managing projects, conducting planning meetings, and building/maintaining strong relationships with all partners
  • Champion ACRF’s community fundraising campaigns to existing corporate partners including ACRF Running, 2k a Day in May, Hair Dare and Brave Shave
  • Achieve fundraising targets by collaborating on strategy, adhering to best practices, and leading campaigns for ACRF’s corporate and workplace giving programs
  • Mentor the Partnerships Coordinator and foster a collaborative approach to high-value fundraising across the organisation

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a strategic partnerships role, within not-for-profit or a relevant commercial sector
  • A background in driving new business initiatives with the ability to create compelling, unique and innovate partnership opportunities that focus on creating high value and multi-faceted partnerships
  • Full partnership lifecycle experience from prospecting to engagement, relationship development, pitching, contract developing and account management
  • Experience in creating tailored, impactful and innovative proposals that offer unique engagement opportunities
  • Proven experience in maximising engagement and opportunities with corporate partners
  • Demonstrated success in income generation and reaching financial targets with strong budget management skills
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passionate, energetic and dynamic approach to partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal with the ability to pitch and present at high levels
  • Advanced computer literacy with preference for experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills required to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Collaborative and team oriented with enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team environment
  • Passionate about ACRF’s work to support breakthroughs and discoveries in cancer research
