Foodbank provides essential food and groceries to more than 1 million vulnerable Australians every year. To do this, they work with the entire Australian food and grocery sector including farmers, wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers who donate and redirect surplus product to them so that they can make it available to charities providing emergency food relief.
Foodbank NSW & ACT (FBNA) is a not-for-profit, federated organisation who support over 1,100 schools and place-based organisations right across NSW and ACT.
Each month, they provide 337,000 households with food and grocery assistance. Despite their scale and capacity, they are currently only meeting half the need. Foodbank NSW & ACT is looking for likeminded people to join the team and support our mission to ensure everyone has access quality food and essentials when they need it.
This pivotal new role is responsible for managing all aspects of planning giving relationships with high value donors supporting FBNA, including development and implementation of a Major Gift and Gift in Wills strategy.
This is an impactful opportunity to cultivate and nurture relationships with major donors and bequest donors to support them on their continued journey to support Foodbank NSW & ACT.
The role supports the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy to collaborate with the Leadership Team (including CEO) to reach annual financial targets and contribute to the sustainably and growth of planned fundraising revenue to the organisation. This role also works closely with the Individual Giving Team to ensure high value donor moves management is seamless and integrated across Direct Mail, Mid Value, Major Gift and Gift in Will programs.
We are searching for a relationship manager who can steward donors through a high touch personal approach and through the creation of personalised engagement initiatives. This person must be a true collaborator with the ability to work with the wider team to achieve results for donors on their journey to support Foodbank NSW & ACT.
