About the role
As our Organisational Support Manager, you will lead a team and work closely with the executive team to ensure we have efficient and effective administrative and operational procedures and that we are continuously improving. You will also oversee our inclusion support work and make sure our operational processes are as inclusive as possible.
This role is:
- Fully remote, open to you wherever you live in Australia
- On a contract through until 30 June 2026
- Part-time, between 0.6 and 0.8 FTE (23 to 30 hours per week)
- Classified at SCHADS Level 6.
You can choose your working hours between 7.30am and 6pm your local time. Ideally you will be available on Thursday afternoons.
What you'll do
Your role will cover operational management, inclusion support, and IT and systems management. It will include:
- Working with the Deputy CEO to develop and implement operational policies and procedures and communicate these to our team, and proactively identify and mitigate organisational risks
- Leading our inclusion work, including overseeing 1:1 participation support and our inclusive governance practices, and ensuring our policies and procedures are as accessible as possible
- Coordinating our internal meetings and opportunities for our remote team to engage, and operational planning processes
- Supporting the implementation of a professional development / training program for the IA team
- Developing and implementing customised training for the IA team on new IT initiatives and build the team’s IT-literacy
- Monitoring trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement and increased efficiency of our systems.

Who we're looking for
You have:
- Experience working in operations or corporate services, preferably in a non-profit or other small organisation
- Successfully led and motivated a team
- Been involved in developing and improving operational processes and procedures
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make ‘judgement calls’ and informed, evidence-based decisions
- A high level of integrity and ethical standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent computer literacy, including MS Office.

- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including people with an intellectual disability
- Think strategically and long-term to anticipate workplace trends, and plan how to position Inclusion Australia accordingly.
