Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) is a national, community-controlled, not-for-profit and member-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health organisation. The IAHA Group is growing with a strong business plan and strategic priorities delivered through diverse workforce development programs, services and policy responsibilities with offices based in Canberra, Darwin, Katherine, Lismore, and Sydney, supporting a Board of Directors and over 1700 members nationally. In 2021, IAHA formed a subsidiary company, IAHA NT Workforce Development to ensure education, training and employment opportunities are supported across the Northern Territory.

about the position

IAHA and IAHA NT Workforce Development Directors invite expressions of interests from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and committed non-Indigenous peoples to contribute their skills, expertise, and experiences to the following subcommittees:

• IAHA Finance & Audit Committee, and
• the IAHA Risk Committee.

We are seeking up to two external expert members for each committee.

Each Committee meets up to 4 times a year with the purpose of carrying out functions to assist the IAHA Board of Directors and its Subsidiary Company, IAHA NT Workforce Development Board of Directors - in discharging its duties for the IAHA Group.
