About us

Inner West Community Energy was established six years ago as a not-for-profit community group based in Sydney’s Inner West. Our mission is to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency in our community. We have six preferred solar installers and have helped over 350 households install solar PV systems.

We run solar information nights, review solar quotes, help households with metering and electricity tariffs, and offer guidance on going gas-free. We have a project manager who works a minimum of two paid days a week, and a management committee that meets monthly.
