INA is a Christian not-for-profit international aid and development organisation with a vision for a just world where all people are treated equally, regardless of religious, social or political affiliation, to reach their God-given potential. Working through 11 projects in nine countries, INA is committed to building innovative locally led partnerships that empower marginalised women and children and enhance community well-being through programs focused on education, health, and livelihoods and underpinned by gender equity, climate change and disability inclusive principles and practices.
The Education & Advocacy Officer develops and implements INA's school-based education and advocacy programs. Each of the 21 programs provides students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to engage with global challenges and advocate for social justice, raising awareness and financial support to alleviate poverty.
Working with students, teachers, leaders and INA colleagues, the role is fast-paced, and every day looks different... from running a workshop, to designing course material, to meeting with a school principal or training a facilitator, no two days are the same.
You're looking for a part-time role that fits in with studies or other work and you're passionate about justice and empowering others to live out their lives to their full potential.
You love engaging with young people and have experience in leadership roles either at school or within a volunteer environment. You're equally as comfortable communicating with teachers and industry leaders.
You get a lot done! Not just because you're highly organised and great at prioritising, but you're also enthusiastic and love learning and developing new skills.
And lastly, you love the sound of what we do at INA and think your abilities match our mission!
Flexible working hours and the ability to combine in-office and from home working.
