About the role

You are a strategic and proactive manager and communicator with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and fundraising strategies, product development, collateral production and distribution of publications including both print and digital formats.

The role coordinates the end-to-end delivery of multi-channelled direct marketing campaigns to acquire and retain donors while working across fundraising appeals, donor acquisition, and regular giving programs. This role is dynamic and fast-paced.

You will:

  • Develop and implement successful marketing and fundraising strategies using print and digital channels.
  • Have strong results orientation and entrepreneurial approach and high level of perseverance.
  • Understand the importance of evaluating data to measure performance and are driven to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Have commercial thinking – practically applies technical/functional expertise and challenges the status-quo in contributing to organisational success.
  • Support the use of proven ideas and innovation to develop content across external platforms including but not limited to website, social media and publications to support donor and supporter acquisition and retention.
  • Have a strong commitment and alignment with INA’s mission, vision and values and philosophy statement.

INA is a DFAT fully-accredited international development organisation working with the poorest and most marginalised communities, especially women and children, to eliminate poverty and its causes, regardless of affiliation.

We are almost 50 years old and are 1 of only 41 fully Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)-accredited Australian NGOs working in international development. This accreditation means that we meet the highest program standards.

  • Conduct national education programs with Australian students that align with the Australian Curriculum to help youth clarify their personal purposes and increase empathy and understanding of global poverty and the Sustainable Development Goals,
  • Bring our funding contributors and in-country partners closer together to easily co-design projects with all stakeholders to support innovation and alignment of programs, and,
  • Is efficient and currently allocates over 83% of funds to overseas projects or community education programs.
