This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Project Worker to join and coordinate the Family Law Pathways Network project.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking applications for a dedicated and experienced Project Worker to join our team. The Family Law Pathways Network is made up of members from a variety of different community organisations within the region who share information and resources regarding post-separation services. This position provides administrative support to the Steering Committee of the Family Law Pathways Network in the Lower Mid North Coast region.

This role will be primarily based in Port Macquarie and will require flexibility to work some evenings and/or early morning meetings or events. Due to the travel required as part of this role, the successful applicant will be required to hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable car. In the event that a pool car is not available, you will be required to use your own personal vehicle, all kilometres will be reimbursed when using your own personal vehicle.

It is a Permanent Part-Time role, 15 hours per week. Days and hours of work are negotiable.

We are looking for strong capabilities in project management and experience, ethics, and good foundational skills in the use of technology - including a client management system, Zoom, and Skype for business.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Previous experience in a not-for-profit community organisation or other client service environment
  2. Demonstrated experience in administration and secretarial skills
  3. Demonstrated experience in project management
  4. Knowledge and understanding of the needs of families who are experiencing separation or divorce
  5. High level of written and interpersonal communication skills, along with a demonstrated ability to network, liaise and negotiate effectively with a wide range of people
  6. Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  7. Current driver's licence and right to work in Australia
